STUDY REPORT ON THE FUTURE OF WORK IN GHANA, 2030 (HORIZON 2030)
This study report aims to provide understanding on the extent of incidence and effects of skills gaps in the three sectors of the economy and among workers of the nine occupations of the country, examine ng the effects of ICT and digitalization on productivity and job creation; understand the role of the foreign direct investment in bridging the labour supply-demand gaps and unemployment challenges; explore ways to close the labour force participation rate or gender gap analysis of women; and lastly, suggest policy decisions that have significant impact on the labour force between 2021 and 2030.
