Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) Engages Audit Service to Advance Ghana’s National Productivity Framework

TThe Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) has engaged the Audit Service as part of ongoing strategic stakeholder consultations aimed at developing a comprehensive National Productivity Framework for Ghana.

The engagement forms part of broader national efforts to strengthen productivity measurement, enhance institutional efficiency, and promote sustainable economic growth through improved performance standards across both the public and private sectors.

The proposed framework is expected to provide a structured and measurable approach to assessing productivity, aligning institutional performance with national development priorities, and supporting evidence-based policy decisions that will enhance Ghana’s competitiveness and drive inclusive economic growth.

The MDPI delegation was led by Prof. Elijah Yendaw, who emphasized the urgent need for Ghana to establish a practical and effective productivity framework capable of measuring performance across all sectors of the economy. He noted that such a framework would play a critical role in promoting accountability, efficiency, and national development.
