The Director General of MDPI paid a courtesy call on The Minister of Finance

The Director General of the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI), Prof. Elijah Yendaw, led by the Hon. Dr. Abdul Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister of Labour, Jobs, and Employment, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Ato Forson. The meeting, held at the Finance Ministry, focused on key developmental issues, including the completion of MDPI’s office space and potential future collaborations to enhance the institute’s capacity.

During the discussions, Prof. Yendaw highlighted the importance of completing MDPI’s office building to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. In response, Hon. Dr. Ato Forson acknowledged the request and asked MDPI to submit a detailed proposal outlining the requirements for the project’s completion. Additionally, the Finance Minister expressed interest in a long-term partnership with MDPI to strengthen its capacity in training and research, aligning with national development goals. He emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting institutions like MDPI to foster productivity and skills development in the workforce.

Prof. Yendaw expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting, stating that the discussions were productive and would significantly benefit MDPI’s growth. He assured the Finance Minister of MDPI’s readiness to work closely with the ministry to achieve mutual objectives.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with all parties looking forward to further engagements to advance MDPI’s mandate and contribute to national development.
