Stakeholders and Participants at the ILO SCORE Phase IV Kick off

The Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI), backed by German Cooperation, has initiated training for 109 Ghanaian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as part of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) initiative. This training is designed to boost productivity and resource efficiency among SMEs, ultimately fostering job creation and enhancing workplace conditions. Now in its fourth phase, the programme has consistently delivered substantial benefits to Ghana’s SME sector.

On August 29, 2024, the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) had the honor of hosting the

Honourable Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, during his official visit to the Institute. Accompanied by the Ministry’s Technical Advisor, Hon. Bright Wireko-Brobbey, the minister’s visit aimed at inspecting the ongoing construction of MDPI’s new office building at Okponglo, East Legon, Accra.

In a significant stride toward fostering international collaboration, a two-member delegation from the Management Development and Productivity Institute (MDPI) in Ghana, comprising Director General, Madam Bernice Adjei, and Business Development Manager, Mr. Eric Sarfo Danquah, recently completed a successful visit to The Gambia. The delegation was warmly received by the Honorable Minister of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration, and Employment, Hon. Baboucarr Ousmaila Joof, and his top management staff.
